Past Honours Student
Jade recently completed her honours in the Research Ecology Group at Monash University. In her honours project, supervised by Dr Rohan Clarke and Professor Paul Sunnucks, Jade invested the roosting ecology of woodland birds. Using thermal imaging to observe roosting behaviour in nocturnally roosting birds, she was interested in how birds of different sizes select roost sites in response to temperature. Jade is passionate about avian research and is a long term volunteer on the eastern yellow robin project with the Persistence and Adaptation Research Group. In her spare time she enjoys bird watching, bushwalking and caring for her pet chickens.
